Master of science program in digital health


The Master of Science Program in Digital Health, Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, has been developed in response to the digital transformation in healthcare systems. Emerging technologies and innovations are reshaping medical and public health services, such as: Big Data Analytics integrated with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Applications in Medical Informatics for improved data management and analysis. These advancements enhance the capacity to analyze health data, leading to better medical diagnoses, data-driven treatment decisions, and improved patient care outcomes.

The program is built upon the vision of Chulabhorn Royal Academy: “Creating good and equitable health for all lives through advanced science, innovation, and excellence.” It also aligns with the vision of Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine: “To be the provider, developer, and healer of the future.” The curriculum is designed to produce graduates with knowledge in healthcare service and management systems, digital health and digital technologies, contribution to participatory and sustainable health system development, and engagement in Blended Learning combining online learning and face-to-face learning.

1. Tuition Fees (per credit)
1.1 Lecture / Theory / Seminar: 2,000 THB per credit
1.2 Laboratory / Practical: 3,000 THB per credit
1.3 Thesis: 4,000 THB per credit


2. Educational Maintenance Fees (per semester)
2.1 General Educational Maintenance: 10,000 THB
2.2 Library Fee: 500 THB
2.3 Supplementary Curriculum Activities Fee: 2,500 THB
2.4 Student Activities Fee: 500 THB
2.5 Internet Fee: 500 THB
2.6 Accident Insurance: 500 THB
2.7 Health Service Fee: 1,000 THB


3. Additional Fees and Charges
3.1 Initial Student Registration Fee: 2,500 THB
3.2 Student ID Card: 300 THB
3.3 Damage Deposit: 2,000 THB (refundable upon graduation or termination of student status)
3.4 Student Status Maintenance Fee: 5,000 THB per semester


Note: Other tuition and miscellaneous fees are charged on a per-case basis in accordance with the official announcement of Chulabhorn Royal Academy regarding tuition, maintenance, and fees for graduate programs.
This is a Master’s Degree Program (Plan A, Type A2) with a total study period of 2 years.

PSMD 6404 Data Management in Clinical Trials Thesis – 12 credits
1. Students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, successfully submit their thesis, and pass the final oral examination.
2. The thesis, or part of the thesis, must be published or at least accepted for publication in a national or international journal, or presented at an academic conference with the full paper published in the proceedings.
