BANGKOK – Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) continues to elevate Thai education with the launch of its newest faculty in 2026, the Faculty of Engineering. The faculty will debut the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Biomedical Engineering for the 2025 academic year. The program aims to cultivate a new generation of engineers who are more than just technicians, but "innovators" who master both engineering mechanisms and the essence of medical treatment to drive healthcare technology for sustainable quality of life.
In an era of rapid medical advancement, "Medical Technology" have become the heart of treatment. This curriculum is specifically designed to meet the demands of the future healthcare industry by integrating expertise across four key dimensions:
- • Engineering x Medical Science : Applying fundamental engineering principles to precision medical science.
- • Standards & Quality : Expertise in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining medical equipment according to international standards.
- • Digital Transformation : Utilizing advanced digital technologies to analyze and solve real-world medical challenges.
- • Entrepreneurship : Cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset to scale innovations into the global business and industrial sectors.

Students will experience Action Learning through hands-on practice in state-of-the-art laboratories, solving real-world medical cases. Key strengths include:
- • Professional Network : Learning closely with medical personnel and industry experts from Chulabhorn Royal Academy.
- • Intensive Internship : A 3-month Prac tical Training program in the fourth year to ensure immediate job readiness upon graduation.
- • Tuition Fees : A total of 240,000 THB for the 4-year program (minimum 137 credits).
