The Health Ambassador Program of Chulabhorn Royal Academy was established in response to the royal initiative of Professor Dr. HRH Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, President and Chairperson of the Council of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, to enhance the capacity of health-related personnel to accurately and widely disseminate health knowledge to the public. A key focus of the program is the promotion of health literacy, enabling individuals and families to appropriately apply health knowledge in their daily lives.
The program emphasizes the development of health leaders capable of communicating scientific health, medical, and public health knowledge to organizations, agencies, and communities, while also strengthening health communication networks and reinforcing Thailand’s public health system. Learning is integrated with royal medical initiative projects and the application of medical innovations, alongside the principles of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, to establish a strong and sustainable foundation for public health.
Participants are expected to transfer and apply the knowledge and experience gained to their respective organizations and communities, thereby systematically expanding health science knowledge to other professional groups, strengthening the national public health system, elevating standards to the international level, and enhancing global competitiveness. This initiative also fulfills the royal vision underlying the establishment of Chulabhorn Royal Academy as a center for education, research, and medical services, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of the people, ensuring equitable access to health information and services, and fostering a sustainable society of well-being for the future.
