Amidst the global energy crisis, resource security has become a critical challenge that requires a collective solution. Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) hereby declares its commitment to being a model organization in energy conservation. Our goal is to build sustainable resource security and navigate the global energy crisis through the "CRA Guidelines for Energy Reduction Measures," issued to mitigate impacts from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. CRA Energy Saving Measures


1: Building and Facility Measures
1. All departments are encouraged to close office spaces during off-site operations and utilize designated Co-Working Spaces for staff who need to work on-site.
2. Escalator operating hours will be regulated based on necessity.
3. Elevators may be deactivated, alternated, or restricted to stopping only at specific floors.
4. Office buildings will be closed on weekends and public holidays.

2: Office Equipment Measures
1. Enable Energy Saver mode on all computers and shut them down immediately after work.
2. Turn off computer monitors during lunch breaks or when away from the desk.
3. Set photocopiers to energy-saving mode and turn off the power switch after use.
4. Reduce paper consumption by prioritizing electronic documents.

3: Air Conditioning Measures
1. Use air conditioning only when necessary and turn it off at 4 PM. If continued work is required, staff may use the Co-Working Space until 6 PM
2. Maintain a temperature setting of 26–27°C in all rooms.
3. Keep doors and windows closed to prevent heat from entering.
4. In the CRA Hall and Gymnasium, limit usage to only two air conditioning units and only when the space is occupied.

4: Lighting and Electrical Appliance Measures
1. Operate lighting and electrical equipment only as necessary.
2. Turn off lights during lunch breaks and after 4:00 PM.
3. Keep lights off in unoccupied areas (e.g., meeting rooms, restrooms, or hallways).
4. Turn off lights every time you leave a room.
5. Unplug electrical appliances after use.
6. Consider limiting the use of high-power electrical appliances for teaching and research activities.

5: Transportation Services Measures
1. Optimize shuttle routes, schedules, and stops:
• 1.1 Add a shuttle stop at the Chulabhorn Chalermprakiat Medical Center Building.
• 1.2 Route 1: Agrarajakumari Building – Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building – Chulabhorn Chalermprakiat Medical Center Bldg.
• 1.3 Route 2: CRA Hall – Chulabhorn Chalermprakiat Medical Center Bldg. – Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine Building – CRA Dormitory 5.
• 1.4 Route 3: Office of Chulabhorn Royal Academy Building – Agrarajakumari Building
2. For central vehicle requests from multiple units, a "Carpooling" policy will be implemented.


6: Monitoring and Evaluation
1. Housekeeping and security staff are assigned to inspect buildings and electrical equipment after office hours.
2. The Engineering Services Department will record data and report results on a monthly basis.
