Chulabhorn Hospital’s OB-GYN Team Conducts Study Visit at Ramathibodi Hospital to Elevate Women’s Healthcare Standards
On May 6, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattavut Kantathavorn, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chulabhorn Hospital and Assistant Dean of the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM), Chulabhorn Royal Academy, led a delegation of healthcare personnel on a study visit to the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. The team was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arbrun Lertkhachonsuk, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where they engaged in a vision-sharing session aimed at the sustainable development of women’s healthcare services.
This visit focused on an in-depth exploration of the holistic maternal care model within actual clinical settings. The delegation observed operations ranging from screening systems at the Obstetric Outpatient Clinic to standards of care in Labor Rooms and Private Labor Suites, as well as postpartum recovery management. The objective is to analyze and adapt these best practices to enhance the service efficiency of Chulabhorn Hospital to international standards, while fostering strong inter-institutional collaboration to drive the future of Thai public health.
