Her Royal Highness Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, graciously received a donation contributed to the “Hathai Thip Fund” under the Chulabhorn Foundation.

On February 18, 2026, Her Royal Highness presided at the 6th Floor of the Princess Srisavangavadhana Building, Chulabhorn Hospital, granting an audience to Khunying Jaratsri Thipirach, Vice President for Administration of the Chulabhorn Research Institute and Director of the Office of the President, who led a group of donors to present contributions in support of the “Hathai Thip Fund.” Representatives from various sectors also jointly presented donations and received royal souvenirs on this occasion.

The “Hathai Thip Fund” is a benevolent fund established under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness, who serves as Chairperson of the Fund’s Executive Committee. The Fund aims to support key missions of government agencies, private organizations, and the public in preventing and alleviating suffering arising from unrest, conflicts, natural disasters, or incidents that endanger lives, property, and national sovereignty—particularly situations occurring along the Thai–Cambodian border.

Her Royal Highness has granted policy guidance to allocate budgetary support for construction projects along the Thai–Cambodian border under the implementation of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters and the Royal Thai Army. Both agencies have put this policy into practice through the construction of special ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) bunkers and public shelters with capacities of 40 and 60 persons in high-risk areas across all border provinces. Construction of border fencing and patrol roads is also underway in Pong Nam Ron District, Chanthaburi.

These construction projects have played a significant role in alleviating challenges in border areas, effectively reducing loss of life and property among civilians and frontline personnel amid recent security situations along the Thai–Cambodian border.
