Chulabhorn Hospital Welcomes Two Medical Professors and Laureates of the 2025 "Princess Chulabhorn Award" on Their Official Visit to Observe Cancer Care and Treatment Services
BANGKOK, 9 July 2026 – Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, led by Associate Professor Surasak Leelaudomlipi, M.D., Acting Director of Chulabhorn Hospital, Jomtana Siriphaibul, M.D., Director of Cancer Center, and Aimwipa Lueprasitsakul, M.D., Hematologist, along with the team of physicians, nurses, and medical personnel, warmly welcomed Professor Chen Zhu, M.D., and Professor Zhao Wei Li, the representative of Professor Wang Zhen-Yi, M.D., laureates of the 2025 Princess Chulabhorn Award, together with their delegation, on the occasion of their official visit to observe cancer treatment and medical services at Chulabhorn Hospital.
During this official visit and study tour, the world-renowned medical experts observed the operations of several key departments, including the Cancer Center, the Cancer Patient Services Unit, the Radiation Oncology Unit, as well as the Hematology and Cell Therapy Ward.
The primary objective of this visit was to exchange medical visions, insights, and perspectives with executive administrators, medical specialists, and oncology researchers in Thailand. This engagement serves to strengthen international academic and medical networks, fostering the development of highly effective cancer prevention, control, and treatment strategies. Ultimately, this collaboration aims to drive global healthcare advancements and elevate the quality of life for the public and all humanity.
