Chulabhorn Royal Academy Hosts Week 26 of the 6th Health Ambassador Training Program

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, represented by Chulabhorn Hospital, organized the 6th Health Ambassador training program (Week 26) at the Convention Hall, Chulabhorn Research Institute.

The session was honored by Flight Lieutenant Dr. Atchariya Pangma, former Secretary-General of the National Institute for Emergency Medicine, as the keynote speaker. He shared his expertise on "Thailand’s Emergency Medical System and Aeromedical Evacuation." The lecture covered an overview of the emergency medical system, including administrative structures, relevant laws, and inter-agency cooperation aimed at driving the system toward international standards. He also presented strategic guidelines to enhance accessibility and provide timely services for all.

Regarding Aeromedical Evacuation, Dr. Atchariya shared profound insights into management, coordination, and the mechanisms of transporting critical patients. This system plays a vital role in increasing survival rates, particularly in remote areas or time-sensitive situations, highlighting the necessity of developing a systematic and efficient emergency medical network in Thailand.

This session empowered participants to apply practical knowledge in their daily lives—from accessing the emergency system correctly to communicating vital information during crises. By sharing these emergency response skills with others, participants can help improve survival chances and minimize losses in timely manners.
