Chulabhorn Royal Academy Launches the “Pineapple Eyes: Focus” Project to Promote Transparent Use of Government Assets
Ronnachai Khongsakon, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, assigned the Asset Registration and Property Management Unit under the Procurement Administration Division to develop and enhance the Academy’s systems for managing supplies, equipment, and government assets. The initiative aims to ensure systematic, accurate, transparent, and auditable asset management, supporting organizational operations in line with good governance principles and the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) criteria for public sector agencies.
This effort focuses on strengthening personnel’s knowledge and understanding of the proper use, maintenance, control, and management of government property in compliance with official regulations and purposes. It also seeks to raise awareness of responsible and cost-effective asset use, and to prevent the misuse of government property for personal gain or purposes unrelated to official duties.
In this regard, the Academy organized a training session under the “Pineapple Eyes: Focus” project, featuring Chatchaporn Pintawatana, former Deputy Auditor General, as the guest speaker. The lecture addressed the importance of government asset management and utilization, risk prevention related to improper asset use, and the role of personnel in jointly safeguarding organizational assets to maximize benefits for the Academy, the public, and society.
The activity forms part of the Academy’s efforts to elevate internal management efficiency and foster an organizational culture that emphasizes transparency, accountability, and the prevention of corruption and misconduct. The training was attended by Academy personnel on 10 February 2026 at Lecture Room 1F-R103, 1st Floor, Research and Learning Building, 60th Birthday Anniversary of Princess Chulabhorn..
