Second-year students in the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (for graduates with a bachelor's degree in other fields) from the Princess Agrarajakumari faculty of Nursing organized the project “Learning Emotions, Embracing Hearts” at Rattanakosin Technological College, Lak Si District, Bangkok.
On February 6, 2026, second-year students in the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (for graduates with a bachelor’s degree in other fields) organized a mental health promotion activity for adolescents studying in the second year of the Vocational Certificate Program (Por Wor Chor) at Rattanakosin Technological College, Lak Si District, Bangkok.
The students recognized that learners in the vocational certificate level, who are in the adolescent stage, experience many developmental changes. They often face various pressures, including demands from vocational studies, practical training, expectations regarding future careers, and diverse economic and social contexts. These factors can affect their emotional well-being and may lead to mental health problems. Therefore, it is important to promote appropriate emotional management skills among adolescents.
This mental health promotion project was conducted as part of the course PYSJ 82823: Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing Practicum in the second semester of the 2025 academic year. The project integrated teaching and learning with academic service activities to promote excellence in academic and professional services that respond to the needs of people of all age groups and support the improvement of people’s quality of life.
The Princess Agrarajakumari faculty of Nursing would like to express its sincere appreciation to the administrators, teachers, staff, and students of Rattanakosin Technological College for their cooperation and support in organizing this project, which contributed to the successful completion of the activity.
