May 8, 2026: Recognizing the vital importance of proper skincare for infants, Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy—through the collaboration of the Pediatric Center, Nursing Department, and Corporate Communications Department—organized the "Embracing Skin, Nurturing Hearts" activity. The event aimed to enhance knowledge and exchange experiences through panel discussions, empowering parents with essential skills to manage "Atopic Dermatitis (AD) in Children."
The session was led by a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, including Dr. Narin Panomyoung (Pediatric Dermatology), Dr. Pisuttikan Rangkakulnuwat and Dr. Nattanan Ruangkitpaisan (Pediatric Allergy and Immunology), Dr. Paweewan Jirawisitkul (Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine), along with Registered Nurse Thanarat Lapromma and Practical Nurse Nichakan Pancheua. The event drew significant interest from new parents at the Convention Hall, 6th Floor, HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Sciences Building.
The program featured workshops on correct bathing techniques, proper application of moisturizers and medications, and laundry tips for sensitive skin. Atopic Dermatitis is a common chronic inflammatory skin condition in children, often leading to complications that affect quality of life, sleep, and emotional well-being.
