Professor Dr. HRH Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, Grants an Royal Address to New Students of Chulabhorn Royal Academy for the Academic Year 2026

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, proceeded to the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine Building, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Laksi District, Bangkok, to grant an royal address to new students of Chulabhorn Royal Academy for the academic year 2026.

Her Royal Highness was received upon arrival by Professor Emeritus Rajata Rajatanavin, M.D., Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, alongside the executive committee, faculty members, staff, and students. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to Professor Emeritus Rajata Rajatanavin, M.D. to present a report and introduce student representatives from each program to offer the traditional tribute tray. Following this, the new students recited their pledge of allegiance.
Chulabhorn Royal Academy has established a clear student selection system to ensure candidates meet the specified qualifications of each curriculum. Comprehensive guidance and counseling systems covering academic, professional, and life skills are provided to prepare students intellectually, physically, and mentally with a strong dedication to learning. Furthermore, support programs are available for students requiring financial assistance to ensure all students complete their studies within the scheduled timeframe. For the academic year 2026, there are 504 new students in total, categorized by faculty as follows:

  • • Princess Agrarajakumari Faculty of Nursing: Bachelor of Nursing Science (102), Bachelor of Nursing Science for Second-Degree Program (96).
  • • Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine: Master of Science in Dermatology (5), Master of Science in Medical Physics (8), Master of Science in Digital Health (3), Doctor of Medicine (31), and Bachelor of Science in Health Data Science (37).
  • • Faculty of Health Science Technology : Master of Technology (5), Bachelor of Science in Radiological Technology (50), Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and Health (33), and Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services (35).
  • • Faculty of Science: Bachelor of Science in Medical Innovation Science (35).
  • • Faculty of Engineering: Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering (30).
  • • Faculty of Food and Nutrition Innovation: Bachelor of Science in Medical Food Technology (34).



Chulabhorn Royal Academy was established in accordance with the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana under the Chulabhorn Royal Academy Act B.E. 2559 (2016), as a tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, fulfilling His Majesty’s vision of securing good health and a standardized quality of life for the people. Her Royal Highness envisions developing the Academy into a premier institution for education, research, medical services, and public health, recognizing the urgent need to produce medical and healthcare personnel in shortage areas to fill vital gaps and enhance the overall well-being of the Thai people. Currently, the Academy offers instruction across 6 faculties. It integrates research, academic services to society, the promotion of Thai arts and culture, and loyalty to the core national institutions into its curriculum, aiming to produce well-rounded graduates aligned with the Academy's unique identity.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, granted a royal address to the new students, part of which stated:
"I would like to humbly cite the royal guidance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great regarding education: 'Education is a vital factor in constructing and accumulating knowledge, thoughts, conduct, and virtue in an individual. As individuals grow up, they must continually seek knowledge and self-discipline to gain sufficient capability to pursue their professions and lead a normal, happy life.' I sincerely hope that all of you will wisely and mindfully utilize this valuable time and opportunity to accumulate knowledge, experience, and expertise. Be committed to continuous self-development to bridge the gap between learning and real-world application, growing into graduates who strive to do good, possess compassion and unity, and serve as valuable human resources ready to build stability for yourselves, your families, and the nation."
