Chulabhorn Hospital Holds Strategic Planning Workshop to Advance Toward a World-Class Cancer Excellence Center

Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, organized its Strategic Planning Workshop for Fiscal Years 2027–2031 from 23–24 April 2026 in Ratchaburi Province. The workshop brought together the hospital's executive team, medical professionals, and multidisciplinary healthcare personnel to collaboratively formulate the hospital's long-term strategic direction.

The workshop focused on reviewing the organization's capabilities, analyzing the external environment and emerging challenges, and defining its vision, strategic priorities, and five-year development plan. The overarching goal is to elevate Chulabhorn Hospital into a World-Class Cancer Excellence Center, delivering internationally recognized standards of comprehensive cancer care.

The program featured a structured strategic planning process encompassing SWOT Analysis, the establishment of Strategic Pillars, the design of Flagship Initiatives, the development of a Five-Year Roadmap, and the formulation of a Governance Framework. These strategic components will support effective implementation, performance monitoring, evaluation, and measurable organizational outcomes.

This initiative reflects Chulabhorn Hospital's unwavering commitment to advancing cancer care through high-quality, safe, modern, and patient-centered healthcare services. It also reinforces the integration of clinical services with research, academic excellence, and healthcare innovation to strengthen Thailand's cancer care system in accordance with international standards.
