"Lymphedema: It’s No Small Matter" Talk to Mark World Lymphedema Day

Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), recently organized a multidisciplinary seminar titled "Lymphedema: It’s No Small Matter" to commemorate World Lymphedema Day. The event took place on March 6, 2026, at the 1st Floor, Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building, Chulabhorn Hospital, Laksi, Bangkok.

The seminar featured a panel of distinguished specialists from Chulabhorn Hospital’s multidisciplinary team, including Phairin Laohasinnarong, M.D. (Acting Head of Rehabilitation Medicine), Suparoek Lohasammakul, M.D. (Plastic Surgeon), Ms. Krittaporn Sawattheuk (Physical Therapist), and Ms. Intira Bamrungton (Head of the Arm Lymphedema Support Group). Together, they shared insights to raise public awareness about lymphedema and encouraged proper care to enhance the quality of life for those living with the condition.

The primary objective of this event was to advocate for systematic care and highlight the importance of early diagnosis and management.
