Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Organized the Annual Merit-Making Activity 2026 in Continuation of the Project “CLRC Doing Good Anywhere, Year 5.”
On 23 January 2026, Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, continued its commitment to promoting moral values, ethics, and auspiciousness among personnel by organizing the Annual Merit-Making Activity for the Year 2026 under the project “CLRC Doing Good Anywhere, Year 5.” The event was held at the 60th Anniversary Research and Learning Building in Honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, with Professor Dr. Ruangpeung Sutthent, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, presiding over the ceremony. Executives and staff members participated together in unity at the Multi-Purpose Hall, 5th Floor, Zone B, Office of Research and Innovation Administration.
The ceremony was graciously conducted by nine monks from Wat Thewasunthorn, Lat Yao Subdistrict, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, who led the chanting of Buddhist prayers. At 9:00 a.m., Professor Dr. Ruangpeung Sutthent lit incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem. This was followed by the formal observance of the precepts, Buddhist chanting, the offering of religious requisites and lunch (packed meals) to the monks, the monks’ blessing and dedication of merit, and the sprinkling of holy water to bestow auspiciousness upon all participants.
The “CLRC Doing Good Anywhere” project has been continuously organized for the fifth consecutive year, serving to strengthen unity and preserve the organization’s positive cultural values. The initiative reflects Chulabhorn Royal Academy’s commitment to fostering a society grounded in goodness, not only through academic and medical excellence, but also by nurturing moral integrity and uplifting the spirit and morale of its personnel in their continued service to the public.
