Srisavangavadhana Award: Recognizing Excellence in Public Health Service Nationwide
With commitment to carrying on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's dedication to improving the well-being and quality of life of the Thai people, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President and Chancellor of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, has elevated the development of medical science and public health in order to alleviate suffering and promote well-being for the people. Her Royal Highness has continually supported the enhancement of healthcare facility standards and the provision of medical services to people in remote areas by health professionals, with the aim of promoting equality and equity in healthcare for all citizens across Thailand.

In profound gratitude and homage to the gracious benevolence of Her Royal Highness, Chulabhorn Royal Academy is committed to upholding and realizing Her Royal Highness’s aspirations through the implementation of the Srisavangavadhana Award project, established in 2021 in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Interior, and the Department of Local Administration. The award aims to promote hospitals nationwide to continuously enhance the efficiency of their services, ensuring that patients in all remote areas have access to modern, high-quality, and standardized healthcare through advanced medical technology.
Since its inception and continuing to the present, the project involves the selection and evaluation of public health service agencies that provide medical services in accordance with established standards, demonstrate unwavering dedication to the development of an exemplary healthcare system, and perform their duties with selflessness, diligence, and commitment. These agencies are deemed worthy of recognition and honor, serving both as encouragement and as a tribute to the merit, prestige, and dignity of the public health personnel within the organization. Moreover, they act as an inspiration and model for other public health organizations to pursue continuous, comprehensive development, ultimately for the greatest benefit of the people.
