Royal Medical Unit of Chulabhorn Hospital, Bueng Kan Province

The Chulabhorn Royal Academy Organized a Royal Medical Unit from Chulabhorn Hospital and Presented Royal Winter Blankets and Relief Items to Residents of Bueng Kan Province

On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, at the So Phisai District Office Hall, So Subdistrict, So Phisai District, Bueng Kan Province, the Chulabhorn Royal Academy organized a Royal Medical Unit from Chulabhorn Hospital to provide health check-up services to local residents. On this occasion, royal winter blankets and relief items graciously granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana President of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Chancellor of Chulabhorn Royal Academy Council, andActing Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy.

A total of 500 royal winter blankets and 200 royal medical supply bags were distributed to residents of So Phisai District, Bueng Kan Province. Assistant Professor Dr. Rawin Raviwongse Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, presided over the ceremony. Mr. Surapol Charoenphum, Governor of Bueng Kan Province, together with heads of government agencies and local residents, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed their profound gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s compassion toward the people of Bueng Kan who were affected by the cold weather.

​​​​​​​Following the presentation of the royal items, the delegation observed the services provided by the Royal Medical Unit of Chulabhorn Hospital. On this occasion, a total of 224 people received medical examinations. The five most common health conditions identified were:

1. Musculoskeletal disorders – 147 cases
2. Respiratory system disorders – 23 cases
3. Gastrointestinal and digestive system disorders – 21 cases
4. Cardiovascular system disorders – 17 cases
5. Neurological disorders – 16 cases

A total of 20 patients were referred for further treatment.
