CRA Royal Medical Team Offers Services at Ban Priwalpordaeng School

Chulabhorn Hospital provided royal medical services and distributed 200 royal medicine kits to the people in Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province, to pay tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana.  Mr. Wiwat Inthaiwong, Deputy Governor of Maha Sarakham Province, along with office heads and the people in the area welcomed the team at Ban Priwalpordaeng School, Nong Khu Khat Subdistrict, Borabue District on Thursday 24 August 2023.  Mr. Wiwat Inthaiwong presided over the homage-paying ceremony for Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana.  The deputy governor and expressed their deepest gratitude to Her Royal Highness’s benevolence.  Later, the deputy governor and the office heads were presented with the kits before giving them to the locals, talking to the medical staff of Chulabhorn Hospital and visiting 3 bedridden patients.

There were 369 people showing up at the health stations.  The top five complaints were about 1) muscles, bones and joints (132 cases), 2) eyes (46 cases), 3) nerves (43 cases), 4) cardiovascular system (41 cases) and 5) digestive system (27 cases).  There were 72 referrals and 54 people came for dental services.  Those who had the health examinations expressed deep gratitude to Her Royal Highness’s devotion to improving the wellbeing of all Thai people. 

On this occasion, Chulabhorn Royal Academy also organized the 2023 activity to promote social and environmental accountability by giving school supplies and sports equipment to students at Ban Priwalpordaeng School, which is a small school under the jurisdiction of the Primary Educational Service Area Office Maha Sarakham, Area 1.  The school offers education from kindergarten to M. 6, the enrolment is at 45 students and there are 8 classrooms with 1 administrator and 5 teachers.  The school is authorized to provide education to students in 2 provinces – Ban Priwal and Ban Pordaeng.  The school is in need of school supplies, sports equipment, office supplies and materials that promote child development and early learning.  This activity underpinned the learning of the students there.  The medical team also provided the students, teachers and other school staff with fundamental health checks.  They were also grateful to Her Royal Highness’s benevolence for this matter.
