CRA Volunteer Spirit: Building Smart Greenhouses, Cultivating Smiles and Sustainability in Kanchanaburi Province
The power of volunteerism from the Chulabhorn Royal Academy was demonstrated during 8–10 January 2026, when faculty members and students traveled to Ban Lin Thin School in Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, to organize a community development volunteer camp.
Key Highlights of the Camp:
Smart Greenhouse:
Participants collaborated to build a prototype smart greenhouse as a modern learning center for organic agriculture.
Organic Workshop:
The camp was honored by the presence of Mr. Komsan Huttaphet from Santivana Ecological Community, who shared practical knowledge and techniques on chemical-free vegetable cultivation with students and local residents.
Safety First:
An earthquake response drill was conducted to enhance preparedness and ensure safety awareness among people in the community.
Because the best learning comes from hands-on experience — and from passing that knowledge on to create sustainable development for the community.
